Maintenance Technician
About this role
Maintenance Technician Hourly Base Pay: $25 Classification: Non-Exempt Within an automated laundry, the Maintenance Technician performs preventative and specialized maintenance of the facility and its equipment and ensures maintenance compliance to applicable regulations and maintenance policies. You will collaborate with other plant personnel to improve performance of the equipment within the plant operation. The Maintenance Technician's performance will measure success within this. This is a events and setup opportunity with Alsco Uniforms in Chicago, Cook County. Event setup, teardown, and staging. Crews assemble stages, seating, and equipment, then break down and reset venues quickly between events.
What you'll do
- Set up and tear down staging and seating
- Move and stage equipment and furniture
- Follow event layouts and timelines
- Assist with load-in and load-out
- Keep the venue clean and safe
