Custodian Reports to: Director of Operations Location: Chicago, IL Employment Type: Part Time (20-25 hrs a week) Hourly Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 / hour (commensurate with experience) ABOUT JASC The Japanese American Service Committee (JASC) is a non-profit community organization dedicated to supporting seniors, families, and individuals through social services, cultural programming, and community events. We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and skilled Part-Time Custodian & Handyman to ensure our. This is a cleaning and janitorial opportunity with Japanese American Service Comm in Chicago, Cook County. Cleaning, janitorial, and custodial work for homes, offices, or facilities. Cleaners sanitize surfaces, manage waste, and keep spaces presentable and safe.
What you'll do
- Clean and sanitize floors, restrooms, and surfaces
- Empty trash and manage recycling
- Restock supplies and report issues
- Use cleaning chemicals safely
- Follow a checklist and schedule
