A worker may not claim to possess a license, certification, insurance policy, qualification, skill, or work authorization that the worker does not possess.
Workers must not upload photographs or descriptions of work they did not perform unless they clearly identify the content and have permission to use it.
Displaying a worker profile does not constitute an endorsement, certification, guarantee, or recommendation by ChambaNOW.
6. Worker Availability
Certain Platform features may allow workers to identify themselves as available for work.
By turning on or displaying availability, a worker acknowledges that:
- Availability may be visible to nearby hirers
- ChambaNOW may send job notifications based on location, skill, availability, and other information
- Displaying availability does not guarantee that the worker will receive a job
- Receiving a job notification does not guarantee that the hirer will select the worker
- The worker remains responsible for reviewing and accepting or rejecting each opportunity
- The worker should independently verify job details before traveling to or beginning work
Workers must turn off or update availability when they are no longer available.
7. Hirer Accounts and Job Postings
Hirers may post requests for labor or services.

Before work begins, users should confirm in writing:

Messages sent through the Platform may help document the agreement between users.
ChambaNOW is not a party to an agreement between a worker and hirer unless ChambaNOW expressly agrees otherwise in a separate written contract.
9. Worker Classification and Employment Responsibilities
The legal relationship between a worker and hirer depends on applicable law and the actual circumstances of the work.
Users may not rely solely on labels such as "independent contractor," "day laborer," "freelancer," "employee," or "1099 worker" to determine legal classification.
Hirers are responsible for determining and complying with applicable obligations concerning:

- Payroll
- Tax withholding
- Workers' compensation
- Unemployment insurance
- Employment eligibility

However, this section does not override any legal classification or responsibility imposed by applicable law.
11. Payments
ChambaNOW may allow users to arrange, record, or process payments through the Platform.
Additional payment terms may apply when a payment feature is used.

Even when a badge or verification is displayed, users should independently confirm any credential that is material to the job.
14. Background Checks and Verification
ChambaNOW does not guarantee that workers, hirers, businesses, properties, job postings, identities, licenses, or credentials have been verified.
If ChambaNOW offers verification or background-check features:
- Additional terms and disclosures may apply
- Verification may be incomplete
- Records may be inaccurate or outdated
