General Laborer
About this role
We are hiring General Laborers to support our sewer repair and excavation crews across Chicago and the suburbs. This is hands-on outdoor work: digging, hauling, site setup, backfill, and restoration. You will work alongside experienced technicians who will teach you the trade as you go. No experience is required. If you show up on time, work hard, and want to learn, this job is a starting point. We hope to find Laborers who want to learn and grow w. This is a moving and hauling opportunity with Madden Sewer & Drain Inc. in Chicago, Cook County. Moving, hauling, and junk removal. Movers pack, lift, and load furniture and boxes, protecting items and property during transport.
What you'll do
- Pack, wrap, and protect household or office items
- Lift and carry furniture and boxes
- Load and secure the truck efficiently
- Assemble and disassemble furniture
- Provide friendly, careful service
