Senior Custodian/Utility Worker
About this role
Direction, assists in general college operations performs general cleaning and custodial unskilled and semiskilled maintenance duties for general electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry assigned to the day shift. These variety of utility, delivery, light maintenance. This is a electrical opportunity with Rancho Santiago Community College District in Santa Ana, CA. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
