About this role
Performs maintenance to buildings minor concrete work and exhaust fans, cleaning and performing minor plumbing tasks, , locks, roofs, ceilings HVAC units, monitoring and constructing temporary welding and carpenter shop a valid driver' s license perform general math calculations. This is a plumbing opportunity with Norfolk Sheriff's Office in Norfolk, VA. Plumbing installation and repair for water, drain, and gas systems. Involves running pipe, setting fixtures, and diagnosing leaks or blockages in homes and commercial buildings.
What you'll do
- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
- Cut, thread, and solder pipe
- Read plans and follow plumbing code
- Assist licensed plumbers on service calls
