About this role

Required Qualifications: Lifting: Frequently lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment, sometimes weighing up to 50lbs or more. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs, multiple time an hour throughout a shift. Standing: They often stand for long periods of time, sometimes all day, while working on projects. Must be able to stand for 90% of an 8-12hr shift. Climbing: Work often involves climbing ladders, scaffolding, or stairs to reach different levels of a structure. Must be able to cl. This is a construction opportunity with Dragados in Norfolk, Norfolk City. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.

What you'll do

  • Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
  • Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
  • Operate hand and power tools safely
  • Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
  • Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
