Facilities Maintenance Technician Schedule: Monday - troubleshooting, repairs, and general building maintenance involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry Valid VA Drivers License with tile, blinds, windows, drywall, gutters, shingles, exterior. This is a electrical opportunity with Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board in Hampton, VA. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
