SMS Messaging Terms & Opt-In
ChambaNow is a marketplace connecting local workers with people who need to hire them. Workers may opt in to optional text alerts. SMS is an additional channel alongside email and is never required to use the service.
What we send
- New-job alert when a matching job is posted near the worker, with a direct link to that job.
- Message alert when a hirer sends the worker a message, with a direct link to their inbox.
These are account notification messages. No marketing messages are sent by SMS.
How you opt in
- 1The worker creates a free account at chambanow.com/signup or opens their profile settings.
- 2In the optional “SMS Text Alerts” section they see two separate, unchecked-by-default checkboxes: (1) new jobs in their area and (2) messages from a hirer. They may pick one, both, or neither.
- 3If at least one box is checked, a mobile phone number is required — the number where they consent to receive texts.
- 4Consent language and all disclosures are shown next to the checkboxes before the form is submitted.
- 5Submitting the form records their express opt-in (alert types + phone number).

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. Reply HELP for help. You can also turn either SMS alert off in your profile settings at any time.
