Commercial HVAC Service Manager
About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Service Manager to join our growing service department. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial HVAC service. This role requires management skills for organizing techs, technical ability for backing up your techs when they have issues in the field, communication for interacting with existing customers and bringing in new ones, along with the organization. This is a HVAC opportunity with Bay Air Systems, Inc. in Concord, Contra Costa County. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.
What you'll do
- Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
- Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
- Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
- Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
- Communicate repairs clearly to customers
