About this role
Commercial Carpenter. $30-40/hr. This role requires a skilled Commercial Carpenter who performs wood and metal stud framing, acoustic ceiling installation, and drywall backing on commercial projects. You accurately read and interpret blueprints, lay out framing systems, and install commercial doors, frames, and hardware including locks, closers, and panic devices. You work safely and efficiently with hand and power tools, maintain a strong attenti. This is a carpentry opportunity with Aerotek in Chicago, Cook County. Carpentry and cabinetry — framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. Carpenters measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials for both rough and fine finishing.

- Frame walls, install trim, doors, and cabinetry
- Measure and cut lumber accurately
- Read and work from construction drawings
- Use saws, drills, and finishing tools
- Ensure level, square, and plumb results
