CEI Construction Inspector
About this role
STV is seeking a CEI Inspector to join our Inspection Team in either Franklin or Chattanooga, TN and be part of a growing organization! Our ideal candidate should have been directly responsible for all inspection requirements related to the construction operations assigned. Responsibilities, including but not limited to: Ability to: communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) Performing technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout Making and checking enginee. This is a construction opportunity with STV in Chattanooga, Hamilton County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
