College: Louisiana Delta Community College Department: Workforce & Economic Development Type of Appointment: Unclassified - Administrative/Staff Duties and Responsibilities: • Develop and teach courses in construction related programs, such as NCCER Construction Craft Laborer, Construction Site Safety, Core, etc. • Facilitate both classroom-based learning and hands-on lab instruction, ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA standards. • Evaluate student performance through written and performa. This is a construction opportunity with Job Details in Monroe, Ouachita Parish. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
