Welder - CNC Router/Plasma Operator
About this role
Marrick, LLC is seeking a skilled person to join our shop fabrication team. In this role, you will operate a CNC and CNC plasma table to produce components that meet job specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and fabrication background, weld, fit up, read and interpret blueprints, and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a challenging environment. Safety and Quality supersede production and will alway. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Marrick LLC in Portsmouth, Portsmouth City. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
