Welder (FCAW) 1st Shift Palatka, FL | Full-Time | Overtime Available Ameri-Force is hiring Welders for a leading steel pressure pipe manufacturer in Palatka, FL. Youll inspect, finish and repair welded steel cylinders used in large-diameter pressure pipe for water transmission, sewer and penstock systems. This role suits a hands-on welder who takes pride in quality work and wants steady hours with overtime opportunities. Schedule 1st shift Overtime and Saturdays based on production needs What Y. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Ameri-Force in Grand Prairie, Dallas. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
