Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the Production team supporting daily fabrication and finishing needs. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment-bringing pride to every weld and consistency to every finished steel component. Welder Location: Pontiac, IL Pay Range: $20 Shift: 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. What's the Job? Perform manual a. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with ManpowerGroup in Pontiac, Livingston County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
