Welder Job Type: Full-Time Shift: 1st Shift with OT Available Pay: Competitive based on experience We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our manufacturing team. The Welder will fabricate and assemble metal components by performing MIG and/or TIG welding according to blueprints, work instructions, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has strong welding skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce clean, consistent weld. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Talent Strategy in Grand Rapids, Kent County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
