We have over 190 employees and branch offices in Texas, California, Kentucky, and Hawaii. We specialize in designing, engineering, repairing, and constructing above-ground metal storage tanks and related structures, including welded ta. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Phillips Tank and Structure - Steel Valley Fabricators in Lakewood, Los Angeles County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
