About this role
Superintendent, Government Construction Coakley & Williams Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for Government and Public sector construction projects throughout the MD/DC/VA region. The Superintendent is responsible for safety, quality, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, field leadership, and daily project execution. This role works closely with the Project Manager and project team to complete projects safely, on schedule, within bu. This is a construction opportunity with Coakley & Williams Construction Inc. in Bethesda, Montgomery County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
