Structural Welder
About this role
Basic Job Functions Plan, lay-out and perform all types of structural welding and fabrication work in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision. Able to take direction from a higher skilled worker or foreman. Key Responsibilities Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the crew. Produce high-quality work, safely and prod. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Sundt Construction in Macon, Pulaski County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.

- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
