The City of Bastrop Streets & Drainage Team is currently seeking qualified hardworking applicants to fill the position of Maintenance Worker . Under general supervision of the Streets & Drainage Crew Leader(s), Superintendent, and/or Director, performs skilled and semi-skilled labor in the construction, repair and maintenance of city streets, rights of way, and storm dr. This is a landscaping and grounds opportunity with City of Bastrop in Bastrop, Bastrop County. Landscaping, lawn care, and grounds maintenance. Crews mow, trim, plant, and maintain outdoor spaces, keeping properties healthy and attractive year-round.
What you'll do
- Mow, edge, trim, and blow properties
- Plant, mulch, and maintain beds
- Operate mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Install and maintain irrigation
- Remove debris and keep sites tidy
