POSITION TITLE: Welder A (MIG/TIG/SPOT) Location: Saint Paul Shift: 1st shift Wage: $25-30 DOE PURPOSE: To perform spot and MIG/Tig welding on parts and subassemblies ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Sets up welding equipment and fixtures when assigned by supervisor * To operate all spot welders to produce parts and assemblies * Inspect welded parts for conformance to prints. * Report scrap and downtime to minimize waste. * Must demonstrate proficiency in, and compliance w. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Platinum Staffing in Saint Paul, Ramsey County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.

- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
