About this role
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Concrete Finisher to join our team and work on construction projects within a 200-mile radius of Columbia, MO . The ideal candidate will have experience placing, finishing, and repairing concrete on heavy civil construction projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. As a key member of the crew, the Concrete Finisher will use hand and power tools to achieve the desired concrete finish and work closely with supervisors, equipm. This is a construction opportunity with Emery Sapp & Sons in Columbia, Boone County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
