Shop Hand / General Labor Location: Shreveport, LA Pay: $14.00–$17.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM Job Type: Full-Time SHV We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Hand / General Laborer to join our team in Shreveport. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping a shop organized, and is willing to assist wherever needed. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, a posi. This is a construction opportunity with Express Employment in Shreveport, Caddo Parish. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
