Salary Range: $54,209 - $87,277 Job Code: 51030 Pay grade: 18 FLSA Status: Nonexempt Essential Functions: The following duties are normal for this position. Other duties may be required and assigned. Assists with or completes employee performance appraisals; directs work; acts as a liaison between employees and manageme. This is a plumbing opportunity with DeKalb County in Decatur, DeKalb County. Plumbing installation and repair for water, drain, and gas systems. Involves running pipe, setting fixtures, and diagnosing leaks or blockages in homes and commercial buildings.
What you'll do
- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
- Cut, thread, and solder pipe
- Read plans and follow plumbing code
- Assist licensed plumbers on service calls
