HOUSING AUTHORITY CITY OF KENNEWICK (KHA) TITLE: Maintenance Repairer REPORTS TO: Maintenance & Development Director POSITION SUMMARY: This is a Non-Exempt, Regular Full-Time Position. The maintenance repairer is required to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks for residential units, buildings, grounds, and equipment. Janitorial duties and grounds-keeping tasks are also required and include: knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrici. This is a electrical opportunity with Kennewick Housing Authority in Kennewick, Benton County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
