About this role
REMEDIAL CONSTRUCTION FIELD TECHNICIAN II Seeking candidates with 3-5 years of construction or field labor experience. Remediation construction/OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus but not required. This position is performed in a construction environment and involves working around heavy equipment. This role requires frequent travel to client sites in multiple states, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and the ability to safely. This is a construction opportunity with August Mack Environmental, Inc. in Indianapolis, Marion County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
