Maintenance / Rack & Tool Maker (Fabricator) Location: Avtec Finishing, New Hope MN Starting Wage: $27.00 - $35.00/hour DOQ Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday–Friday OT Employment: Full-Time | Direct Hire Your Starting Wage Is Only Part of What You Can Earn If earning more matters to you, there are opportunities to increase your annual earnings beyond your regular hourly wage. At a starting wage of $27.00/hour (If skillset is above entry level, wage range is between $27-$35/. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with AVTEC FINISHING in Brooklyn Park, Hennepin County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
Lo que harás
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
