About this role
Performs skilled (unlicensed) work in the operation of Wastewater Treatment Plant equipment and facilities on an assigned shift (shift work is working eight-hour shifts that will include the following: working on weekends, nights, and holidays). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: Performs skilled work in the operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Facility as scheduled by the Assistant Superintendent. Oper. This is a maintenance and facilities opportunity with Columbus Water Works in Columbus, Muscogee County. General maintenance and facilities upkeep. Handypeople handle repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting to keep buildings running smoothly.
