Plant Services Manager
About this role
To plan, organize, direct and supervise assigned activities of the Plant Services Department/Service functions, which are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utilities and grounds of the hospital in an operative and safe working condition. The Maintenance Supervisor shall be accountable to the Director of Plant Services for planning and maintaining an effective organization, for administering labor and material. This is a electrical opportunity with Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, Beaufort County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
