Plant Maintenance Electrician
About this role
The Plant Maintenance Electrician is responsible for maintaining and improving plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems across production and facility equipment. This role supports automation and control systems, including basic PLC programming and AC/DC motor drives, and is expected to work safely and independently while partnering with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and EHS to keep equipment re. This is a electrical opportunity with Saint-Gobain in Niagara Falls, Niagara County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
