Industrial Construction LaborerTo perform a variety of basic tasks :Prepare and clean work zones.Load and unload and hydro testing.Assist carpenters, painters, welders, fitters and other specialized or EquivalentExperience – General labor requires at least 6 months. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Morrison Energy in Houma, LA. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
