Position: Welder Reports To: Foreman Summary: Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products. Welder must be able to pass a welder qualification test consisting of but not limited to 6G pipe or 5G Butt/Branch under one of these codes: IE API 1104, ASME B31.3, B31.4 to be considered a welder. Essential Qualifications, Duties, and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned) Selects equipment a. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with PCM & Affiliated Companies in Natchez, Natchitoches Parish. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
