Multifamily Housing Maintenance Technician / Carpenter
About this role
This position will need to work independently to problem solve tenant and building related maintenance needs. This role would be dual purpose as we are also in need of someone with good carpentry skills to assist with development and construction tasks at ongoing and future projects. Will need to have experience in property maintenance and related activities. Will need to have reliable transportation to use throughout the day traveling between properties. Will be. This is a carpentry opportunity with Timeless Properties Detroit in Detroit, Wayne County. Carpentry and cabinetry — framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. Carpenters measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials for both rough and fine finishing.
What you'll do
- Frame walls, install trim, doors, and cabinetry
- Measure and cut lumber accurately
- Read and work from construction drawings
- Use saws, drills, and finishing tools
- Ensure level, square, and plumb results
