Jonesboro Public Schools is seeking a motivated and dependable Maintenance Technician who has a strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to grow into a licensed plumber. If you have maintenance experience and enjoy solving problems, we will invest in your future by providing the opportunity to obtain your Arkansas plumbing license while working full-time. This is a plumbing opportunity with Jonesboro School District in Jonesboro, Craighead County. Plumbing installation and repair for water, drain, and gas systems. Involves running pipe, setting fixtures, and diagnosing leaks or blockages in homes and commercial buildings.
What you'll do
- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
- Cut, thread, and solder pipe
- Read plans and follow plumbing code
- Assist licensed plumbers on service calls
