About this role
The Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance on all guest rooms and other public areas of the Holiday Inn KCI in accordance with IHG standards to ensure areas are “Guest Ready”! Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure proper installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment, plumbing, and other finished surfaces of the hotel. Anticipate maintenance needs, take initiative when required, and follow tasks through to completion. Assist. This is a plumbing opportunity with Holiday Inn KCI Airport/KCI Expo Center/Atwell Suites KCI in Kansas City, Jackson County. Plumbing installation and repair for water, drain, and gas systems. Involves running pipe, setting fixtures, and diagnosing leaks or blockages in homes and commercial buildings.

- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
- Cut, thread, and solder pipe
- Read plans and follow plumbing code
- Assist licensed plumbers on service calls
