About this role
Maintenance Specialist (Levels 1–5) Position Overview The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical production equipment. This role works closely with Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime. Note: Maintenance Specialist levels (1–5) and corresponding compensation are determined by the Lead Maintenance Technician b. This is a electrical opportunity with Express Employment in Dayton, Marengo County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
