Maintenance Technician
About this role
Hours: Monday- Friday : 8AM - 4:30 PM ( Rotating Weekends ) Duties and Responsibilities: Frequently check the work order system Repair of roofing, siding, buildings, minor electrical, irrigation repairs, painting. Performing minor plumbing and electrical repairs, as well as light carpentry Cleaning and replacement of filters on various HVAC units Changing light bulbs and ballasts Assisting with special construction projects Perform janitorial tasks as needed including trash removal and cleaning. This is a electrical opportunity with Oceanside Cove in Oceanside, Nassau County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
