About this role
US Foods is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to support our high‑volume wholesale foodservice distribution facility. In this role, you’ll install, maintain, and repair warehouse equipment, material‑handling systems, conveyor lines, refrigeration support systems, and building infrastructure to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues, completing work orders and documentation, and support. This is a electrical opportunity with US Foods in Rock Hill, York County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
