Maintenance Engineer III
About this role
The Maintenance Engineer III is responsible for performing advanced maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks on complex systems within a healthcare facility. This role ensures the reliability and safety of critical infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, and/or emergency power systems. The Maintenance Engineer III also leads maintenance projects, ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, and provides mentorship to junior engineers. This is a electrical opportunity with Community Health Systems in Laredo, Webb County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
