About this role
Open Until Filled PRIMARY PURPOSE: Maintain buildings and equipment for the district. Work involves repairing of electrical equipment, identifying, diagnosis and repair malfunctions in all areas of electrical equipment and systems. Employee must exercise tact and courtesy in contact with the public, school officials, supervisors, and co-workers. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent Certification / License: Clear and valid Texas driver’s license Valid Texas Journe. This is a electrical opportunity with Amarillo ISD in Amarillo, Potter County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.

- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
