About this role
General Definition of Work Performs intermediate semiskilled work performing general upkeep and maintenance at City parks, facilities and grounds and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Park Assistant Superintendent. Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or abili. This is a landscaping and grounds opportunity with City of Richmond in Richmond Square, Wayne County. Landscaping, lawn care, and grounds maintenance. Crews mow, trim, plant, and maintain outdoor spaces, keeping properties healthy and attractive year-round.
What you'll do
- Mow, edge, trim, and blow properties
- Plant, mulch, and maintain beds
- Operate mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Install and maintain irrigation
- Remove debris and keep sites tidy
