Maintenance Craftsman II- Electrician GENERAL INFORMATION Title: Maintenance Craftsman II- Electrician Department: Maintenance Department Salary Grade: Classified Schedule C FLSA Status: Non-exempt Site/Location: Maintenance Department Reports to: Director of Facilities & Maintenance Date: 08/12/2025 POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Craftsman II (Electrician) works as a Journeyman or Master electrician in the maintenance, repair, and extension of electrical wiring and equipment in school buildi. This is a electrical opportunity with Lynchburg City Schools in Lynchburg, Lynchburg City. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.

- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
