Introduction THE CITY OF OCEANSIDE IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER. The City of Oceanside is currently accepting applications for a Maintenance Assistant in the Beach & Park Maintenance Division of Public Works department. The Maintenance Assistant will be required to have knowledge of plumbing, electrical and basic carpentry skills. This position would be required to work weekends. This position is hourly extra help (not to exceed 999 hours per fiscal year). This is a continuous recruitment t. This is a electrical opportunity with City of Oceanside in Oceanside, San Diego County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.

What you'll do

  • Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
  • Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
  • Assist licensed electricians as needed
