Engineer Status: NON-EXEMPT Position Summary: The main function of the Engineer is to performed skilled maintenance and repair duties for the property, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, paint touch ups etc. He or she is responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and property are well maintained and in the best possible condition. Experience & Education: · Trade school or college course work in a related field preferred · Previous customer service& hotel experience pre. This is a electrical opportunity with Meyer Jabara Hotels in Danbury, Fairfield County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
