Company Description Boyd Electric is a commercial and industrial electrical contractor based in Rowlett, TX, serving the DFW Metroplex and surrounding areas since 1999 (TECL 34094). We're hiring a licensed Lead Journeyman Electrician with strong new construction and tenant finish-out experience to plan, install, and lead electrical work on commercial and industrial projects. This is a full-time, W-2 position. You'll run work in the field, direct junior electricia. This is a electrical opportunity with Boyd Electric in Dallas, Texas. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
