About this role

Our mid-size construction firm is looking for a Lead Framing Carpenter. We specialize in new home construction, as well as remodels, and have more than 20 years’ experience in the industry. Our ideal candidate is a journeyman with at least 10 years’ experience in framing, has experience leading a framing crew and is able to read blueprints to determine work requirements. Additionally, this leader will need to coordinate with sub-contractors, be skilled with cutti. This is a carpentry opportunity with DM Building in Oceanside, San Diego County. Carpentry and cabinetry — framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. Carpenters measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials for both rough and fine finishing.

  • Frame walls, install trim, doors, and cabinetry
  • Measure and cut lumber accurately
  • Read and work from construction drawings
  • Use saws, drills, and finishing tools
  • Ensure level, square, and plumb results
