Seeking Full-Time: Microscopic Laser Welder (Day and Night Shift available) Welding / Fab company that specializes in tooling repair for dies, punches, molds and many other component parts of these tools, including precision welding to heavy build-up on typical base metals such as Aluminum Alloys, all Structural Steels, all Tool Steels, Kirksite, Bronze/Ampco, Titanium, etc. We serve the following industries: Automotive, Aerospace, Space, EV's, Medical, Defense a. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Absolute Laser Welding Solutions in Sterling Heights, Macomb County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
