Labor Foreman Location: Jersey City, NJ Pay: $30-$40 an hour Seeking an experienced Labor Foreman to oversee daily construction activities on high-rise projects throughout New York and New Jersey. In this role, you assign and coordinate daily tasks, supervise labor crews, enforce safety standards, collaborate closely with project leadership, and ensure work is completed according to schedule, budget, and quality requirements on complex. This is a construction opportunity with Aerotek in Jersey City, Hudson County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
