Journeyman HVAC Installer Needed! With Per Diem!
About this role
Journeyman HVAC Installer needed for various commercial construction projects near Albany, New York area. Duties will include installing sheet metal ductwork systems throughout the building from Roof Top Units and Air Handler systems. Installing exterior louvers, registers, and diffusers on flexible ductwork. You will not be required to do any unit start ups or braze set lines. You must be able to take direction and work independently. You may be required to work. This is a HVAC opportunity with GRUS Construction in Newark, Essex County. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.
What you'll do
- Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
- Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
- Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
- Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
- Communicate repairs clearly to customers
